Get to Know Dr. Hoepf

A native of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Dr. Marcia Hoepf joined Columbus Ophthalmology Associates in 2014. She completed her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University before moving to Boston to attend the New England College of Optometry. During that time, she performed various volunteer services throughout Boston and participated in laboratory research. She went on to complete an ocular disease residency at the Boston VA. Dr. Hoepf worked in a diverse community health center in Boston, treating and managing a variety of ocular conditions prior to moving back to Ohio to be near her family.

Dr. Hoepf is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice for The Ohio State University where she supervises optometry externs in the clinical setting. She has special training in the treatment and management of glaucoma and lectures both locally and nationally to optometrists for continuing education. She also has a commitment to serving underprivileged populations and traveled on a mission trip to Nicaragua in 2008 where she provided eye care to numerous villages throughout the country.

Dr. Hoepf resides in Worthington with her husband, Jeff, sons Samuel and Everett, and daughter, Kennedy. She enjoys running, hiking, camping, skiing, and traveling.
