James A. McHale, M.D.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, James McHale, M.D. received his bachelor’s degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and medical school degree from the Ohio State University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals. Dr. McHale joined Columbus Ophthalmology Associates on August 23, 2004. His specialities include small incision cataract surgery, treatment of diabetic retinopathy and retinal laser surgery.
Dr. McHale is a part-time faculty staff for the Department of Ophthalmology at the Ohio State University. He teaches resident physicians and medical students about ophthalmology at the Ohio State University clinic and at Columbus Ophthalmology Associates.
