Born in Columbus, Ohio, Kenneth Beckman, M.D. received his bachelor’s and medical school degree from the Ohio State University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at St. Lukes Medical Center, in Cleveland, Ohio where served as chief resident in 1994-1995. Dr. Beckman completed a cornea, anterior segment and refractive surgery fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans in 1995-1996.
He joined Columbus Ophthalmology Associates in March of 1998. Dr. Beckman’s specialities include cornea and anterior segment, corneal transplants – including the new sutureless corneal transplant DSEK, small incision cataract surgery and glaucoma. Dr. Beckman is involved in studies on dry eye syndrome and presents case studies throughout the Midwest to other ophthalmologists and optometrists.
